Here are some fun intermediate cha cha dance moves from our recent dance class at Bob Englert’s Dance in Cohoes at the Ukranian Hall.

In this dance class video you’ll learn the following Cha Cha dance patterns:

Cross over break with an outside turn
Cross body lead
Cross body lead with inside turn
Back spot turn
Cross body lead with front ocho and a back spot turn

I’ll be dancing tonight at Mare in Saratoga Springs, come on down, it’s a fun, relaxed atmosphere.

This Saturday Feb. 6th is a Fundraiser dance at the Century House in Latham for our dance friends from Haiti.

There are two more fundraiser’s coming up. Feb 28th for Ricardo Sopin, from my video post, thanks everyone for sharing that and donating and March 6th for Tango Fusion Dance Company.

The above video shows patterns we are learning for our 2010 performance.

I am so jazzed from this weekend of dancing. First at the first Friday swing dance in Albany. 200 people having a great time. Seeing all of my friends. Sharing rides with Emma and Cynthia. Just awesome!

Then on Sunday Dawn and I were invited to demo at the Grand Opening of the Sunset Ballroom in Latham. What a perfect dance and community space. Dan has done a fantastic job designing, building and implementing a great dance space for the capital region!
