Jordan and Tatianna’s 2010 Routine at the US Open Swing Dance Championships. This is the first time I’ve seen that kind of make-up at a west coast swing competition. Nice shirt Tat! I don’t like the music much. 55,000 views as of Feb 2010.

Dancin’ David and Rachel show you how to dance some simple patterns in West Coast Swing. Left side pass with turning variations. Inside turn for the follower, turn for leader and follower and a lunge to hit the accents in the music.

Every first Friday of the month for over 10 years there has been a swing dance in Downtown Albany, NY.
Tonight Peter Davis and his band will play music for Lindy, East Coast Swing and West Coast Swing at the Elks Club on South Allen St.
Whether you are new to swing dancing or have been enjoying it for many years, the First Friday swing dance is a great place to meet people, feel great and enjoy yourself.

West Coast Swing Dance Class Summary Video Footwork Syncopations and Styling
We had a fun west coast swing class in November of 2010 at the Ukranian Hall in Cohoes, NY. In the video below we review some simple variations on basic patterns in West Coast Swing. Two footwork variations and some styling for both the leader and follower. The goal was to really connect with your partner and the music. Thank you to Sue for helping me film the video. Enjoy!
